AMA Announces New Member Discount on RoadLoK Motorcycle Locking Systems

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) members can now protect their motorcycles for less with an AMA member exclusive discount on RoadLoK motorcycle locking systems -- the world's first permanently mounted locking systems for motorcycles.

Disc brake locks work by securing a motorcycle's front wheel so it's more difficult for a thief to roll the bike away. However, these otherwise effective theft-deterrents are easy to lose, sometimes tricky to deploy and disastrous if you forget to take them off before riding away. By integrating the locking function into a permanently mounted bracket or the brake caliper body itself, and using a removable pin to secure the brake disc, RoadLoK systems address these problems without the possibility of accidental actuation. The bike is immobilized, so it simply stalls if the rider forgets to unlock the RoadLoK before attempting to ride away.
