Press Release

A New Chapter for Larry Morton

Riverside, CA (January 13, 2010) - The Brett Downey Safety Foundation has been an integral part of the motocross community over the past three years and Larry Morton has been a big part during that time. You can usually find him at almost all of the major amateur nationals nationwide helping the promoters and training flaggers to help create a safer environment for both riders and spectators. His passion for motocross and his understanding of safety from how to dress to implementing flag and safety standards are unparalleled. He has been a hard worker and an over achiever during his time with the foundation. It is because of this, that we regretfully announce that moving into 2010, Larry Morton will no longer be a part of the Brett Downey Safety Foundation. Larry has decided to continue running the 5 Magics Motocross Schools, working with his students, working on safety rules and protecting our riders going into 2010. We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors and would like to thank him for his time and dedication to helping make the sport of motocross safer for everybody. Best of luck, Larry, into 2010 and beyond!
