2011 MX for Children Jackpot Challenge


Top Fundraiser for Children’s Hospitals Wins VIP Trip to Monster Energy Supercross Finals in Las Vegas
SEATTLE (February
11, 2011) –  MX for Children announced today the inaugural MX for
Children Jackpot Challenge rewarding the top fundraiser a VIP trip for
two to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship,
finals at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium. The Jackpot Challenge is a
charitable pledge drive open to anyone over the age of 18 in the United
States and Canada. 
 
“It’s
exciting for us and the children’s hospitals that we support to take
our efforts to the national stage,” said Paul Gross, MX for Children
founder.  “With the Jackpot Challenge, anyone in the US and Canada can
participate by raising money for a great local cause for kids and earn
an awesome experience at the Monster Energy Supercross finale in Las
Vegas.”
 
MX
for Children Jackpot Challenge raises funds for the Hydrocephalus
Association, a 501(c)(3), which  distributes the donations to the
following children’s hospitals: Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital of
Alabama, Houston’s Texas Children’s, Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital,
Salt Lake City’s Primary Children’s, Seattle Children’s, St. Louis
Children’s, and Toronto’s SickKids Hospital.  The funds go to support
the hospitals’ research to improve the brain condition hydrocephalus –
the #1 cause of brain surgery for children.
 
“Once
again, we are happy to work with MX for Children in facilitating their
efforts at the Monster Energy Supercross finals at Sam Boyd Stadium in
Las Vegas,” said Dave Prater, director of Supercross, Feld Motor
Sports. “This is a great cause, and we look forward to rolling out the
red carpet for the Jackpot Challenge winner.”

participants of MX for Children’s Inside Line Experience (ILE) events
in Seattle, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, Houston and Toronto can get the
holeshot on the Jackpot Challenge by leveraging their ongoing
fundraising efforts and apply their final ILE results to the Jackpot
Challenge, too.

The prize structure for the MX for Children Jackpot Challenge is as
follows:  1) Grand Prize – A VIP trip for two to the Las Vegas

access provided by Feld Entertainment. 2) Runner Up #1 – A $500 Gift
Certificate to Motorcycle Superstore. 3) Runner Up #2 – A Microsoft Xbox 360 / Kinect system.
