in Southwick, Mass. The day was a historic one for Rockstar/Makita
Suzuki's Ryan Dungey, who raced to his ninth straight overall victory
and captured the 450 Class title with two rounds remaining. With his
latest championship, Dungey becomes the first rookie to win the AMA
Supercross and AMA Motocross titles in the same season and he is now
tied with Ricky Carmichael for the winningest rookie year in history
with nine victories, In the 250 Class, GEICO Powersports Honda's Trey
Canard saw his four-race winning streak come to an end as Monster
Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Tyla Rattray took his second career win
on the same day as the birth of his first child.
