Unadilla Press Day and Friday Morning

Unadilla's shaping up to be one of the more interesting weekends of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship season so far. MX1 star Clement Desalle's here, riding one of the Rockstar Makita Suzuki bikes, outfitted with a few of his components. As we saw last year at Washougal, and this year at the USGP at Glen Helen, he's awfully fast.

Austin Howell's also making a guest appearance with the Rockstar Energy Suzuki squad aboard one of their 450s, after finishing up his amateur career at Loretta Lynn's last week. He looked good during yesterday's press day ride time, and is getting used to having a race team mechanic to work with, rather than having his pop spin the wrenches. He'll do two races for sure, and may finish up the season

Hey, remember these teams? We haven't seen the San Manuel / Yamaha / JSE truck since the final round of the Monster Energy Supercross series, and it'll be cool to see James Stewart back in action.

And finally, Jason Lawrence is back in action with his usual team, which as you've seen at the X Games, has been rebadged with ARMA Energy SNX as the primary sponsor.

That's four big reasons to tune in.

A couple of the in/out reports? Tommy Searle is out, suffering from an injury to the same shoulder that he's wounded previously. Another KTM-mounted rider is back in, though...Taylor Futrell was spotted rolling his bike through tech inspection.

Check back for more later from Unadilla on Vital MX.
