Things are starting to heat up in preparation for the 2008 Women’s motocross season. Back in December when we were in Monaco at the FIM awards, Katherine Prumm had let us know that she was switching brands for ’08, but at the time it was too early to let us know where. After riding for Kawasaki for several years, the 2006 and 2007 champ has made the switch to Yamaha for the ’08 Women’s World Cup. The fast Kiwi be pitting with the Dutch Van Beers Yamaha squad, which also hosts Aigar Leok (MX1) and Evgeny Bobryshev (MX2).

On this side of the pond, Sarah Whitmore is also changing up her program, making the jump from Yamaha to Suzuki, and from Girlyz to Shift Racing gear.
