Spike Hardcore Energy Toyota/Yamaha Rider Gracyk Injured 3

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (June 27, 2008) – Earlier this week SPIKE Hardcore Energy Toyota/Yamaha rider Gavin Gracyk suffered an injury to his arm while practicing at the team’s testing compound. The always determined Gracyk has a muscle tear in his tricep and will be unable to compete at the Lakewood, Colo. round of the AMA Toyota National Championship this Saturday, June 28, 2008.

“Muscle tears are very painful and take time to heal,” team owner Coy Gibbs said. “Our training staff will closely monitor Gavin’s condition and return him to racing as soon as he is safely able to compete.”

Gavin will attend the race to greet fans, sign autographs, and support his teammate Josh Summey who will be racing.
