Results Sheet: High Point

Here's the quick recap from yesterday's action at High Point. Check back later for our Photo Blast, and Pit Bits.

Ryan Dungey (Red Bull/KTM) looked to have this one on lock, reeling in Mike Alessi in both motos, and going 1-1 on the day. He now has a 42-point lead in the championship standings.

Mike Alessi (MotoConcepts) had a good day, leading for chunks of each moto, and passing for the lead in moto two, but in the end, Ryan Dungey was just a bit stronger.

James Stewart (Team Yoshimura Suzuki Racing) came out and gave it a try with his injured wrist in the first moto, but opted to not line up for moto two.

Wil Hahn (GEICO Honda) grabbed a sweet holeshot in moto one of the 250 class.

It wasn't long before Hahn's GEICO Honda teammate, Justin Barcia, came calling, and he lead every lap of the first moto, despite a trip over the bars late in the moto.

Ken Roczen (Red Bull/KTM) grabbed the moto two holeshot in the 250s.

Ken Roczen looked to have this moto on lock for the win, but a crash late in the moto allowed Eli Tomac to get him in view, and there was no way he was going to let that opportunity get away. Ken ended up second in the moto, and third overall after his fifth in moto one.

Eli Tomac was on fire in moto two in the 250 class, coming from just inside the top ten on lap one to catch and pass his way to the lead...and the overall win with a 2-1 day.
