There's a very short list of riders who have won a moto aboard a small-bore bike in the history of the Motocross of Nations, and you can now add Team USA's Ryan Villopoto to the list, as he dominated the first moto, which combined the MX1 and MX2 riders. Equally impressive was Ricky Carmichael's ride from the back of the pack after a first lap tangle, to come home in third behind Aussie Chad Reed.

If you thought Villopoto's first moto win was amazing, then his performance in the second was jaw-dropping. He doubled up, taking another moto win.
This time around it was Tim Ferry's turn to charge through the pack, after a first lap incident left him far behind. He made a great comeback, finishing fourth behind Belgium's Ken De Dycker, and KTM-mounted Tommy Searle from Great Britain.
