Not really, but Ricky Carmichael is on the entry list for the Best Whip contest at Staples Center on Thursday night. He was getting in a little practice at the Home Depot Center on Wednesday. Apparently he hasn't spent much time hitting metal ramps as the takeoff for his whips, and was getting coaching from a pair of riders you wouldn't normally expect to see him riding with, freestyle aces Nate Adams and Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg.
