Maeda, Craig, and Marsack Updates

Maeda, Craig, and Marsack Updates

We wanted to update you with some news on a trio of riders who had been injured recently.

Just a reminder, Ross Maeda's Fundraising ride day will be this weekend, December 6th at Perris Raceway in Perris, CA. Want more info about the ride day and Ross' current condition? Check http://rossiproject.com/.

There will be another ride day at Perris on December 23rd, this one for Christian Craig, who was hurt while testing. We checked in with his mom today, and she said that he's doing much better walking with a walker, that he's begun outpatient therapy, and has a lot of work to do. While laid up he's lost 25 pounds. If you have anything you'd like to donate for raffles and the like, you can check in on the We Believe Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/We-Believe-Christian-Craig-72/184086911896

And finally, Jake Marsack is back home in Michigan after returning from Germany, where he fractured his spine while racing in Chemnitz last weekend. While he'll be in a neck brace for the next 6-10 weeks, he's not in a halo. To pre-answer the question, no, he wasn't wearing any neck brace. Originally the German doctors wanted to do surgery there, but after examination back at home, good news! His doctors decided that he doesn't need surgery.
