With two rounds left to go (Washougal and Steel City), the point standings atop the WMA Pro Class are all tied up. Jessica Patterson had dominated the early part of the season, but she suffered a DNF in the first moto on Saturday after contact with Sarah Whitmore. As the two riders went down, the tip of Jessica's middle finger on her throttle hand got caught in Sarah's rear sprocket. Alisa Nix went on to win the first moto, followed by Tarah Geiger.

After some between-moto first aid at the Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit, Jessica lined up for moto two. That race started as a three-way battle between Tarah Gieger, Alisa Nix, and Sherri Cruse, but after crashes by both Cruse and Nix, Gieger went on to take the moto win, and the overall. So with four motos remaining in the '07 AMA/WMA Women's National Motocross Championship Presented by Kawasaki, Gieger and Patterson are tied for the series lead.
