Hookit Releases Blake Savage Support the Athletes Video "The Unsung Hero"

SOLANA BEACH, CALIF. February 21, 2013: Hookit.com is excited to announce the release of its latest Support the Athletes video featuring Blake Savage, entitled “The Unsung Hero”, which was filmed and edited by Kyle Cowling. Blake was a very successful amateur racer who shares the realities of becoming a pro racer after 6 races in his pro supercross season debut.

The passion, dedication, mental and physical strength it takes to make it in supercross is incredibly demanding. Blake is just one of so many talented racers making little to no money while pursuing his dream with only the help of his family and sponsors. Like so many others, his story is an inspiration for others that follow because he never loses sight of the reason he keeps striving; for the love of the sport.

Blake Savage is a 20 year old motocross racer from St. George, UT, residing in Murrieta, CA with his sister, Courtney. His accomplishments include two championships in 85’s and Supermini, 2nd in 250B mod and 450B mod in 2011 and a 5th in 450A at Loretta Lynns for the factory Off-Road American Suzuki team. In 2012 he earned a ride with Gopher Dunes Racing for Canadian Nationals where he earned 6th overall at Walton National. He rides a Honda Cr250f and is currently sponsored by Gopher Dunes Racing Honda, Troy Lee Designs, Hinson Clutch, Alpinestars, SPY Optic, and Bel Ray Oil.
