Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki) made the first trip back to his home track in a while count, as he laid down the fastest time in 450 practice by just over a second ahead of Trey Canard (American Honda Racing). Conditions for the day? Perfect! The rain on Thursday, along with some sand added to the racing surface dialed in the track.

The first of the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders, Tyla Rattray, was the first of the foreign contingent, just ahead of Marvin Musquin (Red Bull KTM), who's making his return to action after the gnarly thumb injury he suffered at Freestone.
