It was all systems go for Red Bull KTM’s Mike Alessi in the first practice (which was faster for all classes, since it was much smoother), but he wadded himself up and won’t make the call to the gate today after getting checked out in the Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit.

Ryan Villopoto was fastest in the rougher second practice.

Red Bull KTM’s top 250 contender, Marvin Musquin, laid down the fast lap in the 250 class. Does the MX2 World Champ have fitness for the two 30 plus two motos after returning from his knee injury? We’ll see this afternoon.
