Round one of the Canadian National series, better known as the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals, was held in Ste. Julie, Quebec last weekend. Colton Facciotti (Toyota/Yamaha/Blackfoot/Fox Racing) took the MX1 overall, with a sweep of the two motos. Tyler Medaglia (Suzuki/Rockstar Energy/OTSFF) went 3-2 for second, and KTM-mounted Jeff Northrop was third overall with a 4-3.
In the MX2 class, Teddy Maier (Team Leading Edge Kawasaki) nabbed the overall via a third and first in the motos, followed by Nick Evennou, who finished second in both motos. Jeremy Medaglia (Suzuki/Rockstar Energy/OTSFF) was third, with a pair of fourth-place finishes.
