Branden Jesseman cleared the final hurdle in his quest to sign a new deal for the ’08 season this morning. The former Lites East champ had come to a verbal agreement with a Toshiba-sponsored and Italian-based team, but hadn’t signed a contract. When Branden started talking to Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki (as well as testing on their bike) before Anaheim 1, the previous team filed an injunction against him. Fortunately for Branden, that was dropped earlier this morning, and he’s now free to work a deal with whoever he chooses.

You can expect a press release announcing his new ride after the ink is dry on his contract, and we’ll see him when the Lites East series starts in Atlanta.
