I didn't have a stop watch, but yesterday at Glen Helen RV didn't look all that impressive. Canard, Dungy, and the Boost Mobile team were on the gas all day.

I am a new Canard fan...I think the kid is great. I saw an older pic of RC the other day and he looks exactly like Canard.

Does this kid realize he says "I just got to give 200%" in every single interview- multiple times in one broadcast? I wait for it every time, and he says it every time! He could use a little speech coaching, but an awesome rider.

Ha Ha--I didn't really leave. It's just easy sometimes to get your feelings hurt, or to get articially pumped up. Neither one is good.

Yes, he is a great young man, thank you. I wonder, people who say that Chad or Lawrence say what's on their mind; why is that different from the nice kids that say what's on their mind??? LOL

I think the 200% is a training tool, Jeff Emig actually alluded to that once. But you're right, he needs to get better on speeches. He is actually VERY shy, so for him to do as good as he does is amazing. Maybe he can learn from IMO the best, K-dub.

Kari, send him to a Dale Carnegie course during the off season.
It'll do wonders for his speaking and his career

Hi Kari....I think Trey is doin' just fine on his interviews, he's come along with the Camera and Mic in front of him, I think Jimmy's been helping him out with the shyness.
Did you see the pretty new red bike of Jimmy's. I need to go buy a new wardrobe now.

No, you're entitled to your opinion. No worries. I think that RV among others will be hard to beat. That kind of stuff doesn't bother me. I don't think Trey is scared, though.

There are about 99.9% of the riders wishing they had the chance to practice those kind of speeches.

He's doing just fine.. I'll take Trey's over the card board cut outs we get most of the time. You can feel his excitement in every word. That's a nice change.

Trey does fine in interviews, and is easily one of the most approachable riders out there. It's easy to see that he's been working hard on every part of his game.

As far as 200%, I know most of us strive for something better, whether it's in riding, work, personal lives, etc. Even when we think we're maxed out, we're capable of more. (I certainly know that I am.) Maybe the 200% is Trey's way of reminding himself to keep pushing.

Seems to be working so far.

Wow, lookin' good. I sure hope I can make it to all the national rounds that I want to go to. (Anybody want to give me a ride to Red Bud?) Definitely looking forward to watching Trey and the rest of the lites guys duking it out. Here's to everyone making it through the season safely, eh?

And maybe we'll even get some good racing out of the big bikes, too. Grin

Haha! I remember that story (the inside joke one)! That was pretty funny indeed.

Kari, it was nice meeting you, Trey, and the rest of the Canard clan at Minneapolis.

I have to agree with Steve when he says Trey is approachable. The kid literally just got done with a 15 lap main, and didn't have the best of races, but was all smiles in the stands. Great kid and family. Good luck in TGO!

Trey comes across as sincere and humble in his interviews and those two characteristics will take him a long way.
I thought the 200% was in reference to the raise he earned this year.Smile

He repeats (Super pumped) over and over each interview.
