So, I ran into some trouble the other day while out spinning some laps. The master link came apart on my bike and shot the chain off, and flying towards my motor and case saver, The case saver did its job, but ended up exploding and poking a hole in my left case by my clutch actuator
Does anyone have any recommendations for a mechanic/tech/specific shop who they would trust to replace the case on a '06 yz 450?
I live on the kitsap peninsula, and would be willing to travel anywhere in the greater seattle area, or south of olympia/ centralia to have the work done by someone with a good price, and who comes with a strong recommendation.
I really dont feel like ding the work myself, because my time is limited, and I would rather spend the rest of the sunny season riding, rather than toiling in the depths of my garage, unpressing, and pressing bearings
as far as i can tell, the damage is isolated to only the left side case, and i still have the big chunks, if welding it up is a possibility,

As far as riding goes, OPMC has a track up in sequim, riverdale is awesome and open year round, but thats a little far south, past Chillalus. Straddleline is awesome when its open, especially since its not that far away, Tahuya state park is great for trail riding or blasting around in sand whoops, I made a few little tracks/loops out there that are pretty cool, free and close.
