Anyway..
I want to go to High Point, Red Bud, Budds Creek, and Steel City this year. My current plan is sleeping in my backpacking tent at any of these rounds that allow it. (I'm not sure on the last two.)
However getting to them is an issue. Budds is 3 hours from here and that ain't bad, but Red Bud is the one I'm especially looking for a ride or carpool, because it's a good eleven or twelve hour drive. The PA rounds are far enough that I wouldn't mind company on the trip to those as well. The price of gas, of course, is also a bit of an incentive here.
I'm a 22 y/o female, don't want a place to sleep, someone to feed me, or a babysitter - just a ride to share. Fine with kids, fine with dogs, fine with booze (just not while driving), fine with smoking, fine with basically whatever as long as you keep your hands to yourself. I'll chip in for gas/tolls and I can help drive (not great at stick-shift vehicles on the roads though) and/or read maps. If you're planning on tent-camping too, I can bring my car as the travel vehicle - it's small but very fuel efficient.
So, folks. Any of you lovely people in the northeast area care to give a wannabe-videographer a ride to some nats?
