Im 18 and have lived in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area my whole life. I used to go to all the classic spots when I was younger. The water whole, pima and dynamite, etc... But then I started riding tracks a ton and completely stopped trail riding. But now I really wanna start again. What's legal and illegal these days? I've been riding a ton around cave creek and bartlett but i really wanna go to some other spots. Is there anywhere to get into the water whole or P&D without breaking the law? Thanks for the help!

Are you still riding. There are few to none down here in Tucson, Panal air park is pretty cool. Otherwise there are plenty of tracks near PHX, AZ

Best desert trails in my opinion (that are still open) are 1) Wildcat staging area up near Bartlett lake on the dam road 2) Rolls OHV near 4 peaks 3) Sycamore creek area. The area near Piralta trail off of the 60 (opposite side of the road) just past the Renaissance Fair has a couple decent spots, but in general it's not nearly as good as the 3 above.
