Here is the canvas to your aluminum frame two stroke conversion! KX500AF you say? Here is a prime candidate for your project.

Everything in the pics is included! Not the subframe holding up the front end, but it is for sale separately.

Lets start with the main frame. It's a 2009 and yes, I have the matching MSO for the VIN. The frame is extremely clean! It has never been damaged or repaired. But it is used and has some dirt stains in the cavities and some undercarriage roost pits. All the threads are good. Nothing is stripped, mickey-moused, or molested.

The swingarm has brand new All Balls bearings and seals. Same with the steering bearings and races, they're new All Balls components! The linkage has excellent condition used bearings that were regularly greased. The lower shock bearing was brand new as well ! New hardware throughout the swingarm including chain slider, chain tensioner bolts, and brake line holder fasteners. The triple clamps were barely ever used.

47mm Showa Twin-Chamber front fork & shock revalved from Factory Connection for a 155lb MX B-rider with .43 KG springs. It was rebuilt with new seals, oil, and wear parts in 2014 and has only been used for 20 hours since then. The shock will not come with a spring.

I am including a gas tank, straight renthal handlebars, and a rear brake set up as well as most of the specific hardware you'd need to complete the build. Things like axles, pivot bolts, engine mounts, linkage & shock hardware & 2 set of headstay mounts are included.

$1000 plus shipping. Probably in the neighborhood of $150 depending on where you're from. I'm located in Western Massachusetts. You can e-mail me at pj726e@aol.com

Excuse me, I should have said "chassis" . I have Talon /a60 wheels if you're interested. I've priced this for the budget minded person looking to do a conversion. Including an expensive wheelset + shipping would probably tip the scales for most buyers.

Realistically dude, if you can afford it, I would hang on to it and try to get it gone in August-September, that's when it seems most people start their winter projects. It's priced appropriately, maybe a little high without the wheels, but if you were in CA, I'd know a lot of people interested.

Rad premium hubs anodized bronze, excel a60 rims, excel spokes & nipples. I have a front oversized rotor & bracket, the rear has a wave braking rotor. Set has roughly 60 hours on it. Rims have typical black rim wear but no flat spots or significant dings. I'm asking $400 without rotors. Pics to follow.

I have a nearly new pro circuit stainless full system for sale, yes.

That's a good point. I have my eye on any KX500 motors popping up for a good price and I would consider the project myself. In the mean time though, this "roller" is still for sale. Any interested parties, I can include an OEM wheelset and the rest of the parts for an even $1000.
