OK... I've got an 02 steel frame yz I'm swapping 2008 Yz250f forks on to. I've got the brakes sorted, along with axles and spacers..... My only question is on the clamp. I want to keep the stock 25mm offset..... Will a 2007+ yz250 clamp work? (I'm aware I'll have to enlarge the steering stop on the frame). I guess I'm most concerned about the steering stem length. I'd like to find one that is just plug and play.
Help a brother out! P. S. - I said I'd never do the swap but the newer sss forks are just butter, even compared to revalved 02 stuff. My 16 smoker literally just soaks everything up without touching the clickers.
Thanks,
Josh

I did the swap on my 03, swapped the stem into the 08 clamps and that was it.
thanks

-forks are from an 08 250f.
-clamps are from a 07-14 Yz250 smoker (stem is same length)
-axle from 08+ smoker or four stroke
-welding the steering stop
