YZF 270mm adapter on RM?

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone tried using YZF brake caliper adapter on a Suzuki 2 stroke?
My local shop has killer deals on galfer O/S kits for YZF (YZF 250/426/450 '01-07 WRF 250/426/450 00-15), but doesn't have the ones for my 2005 RM 250.
I'm 99% sure Yamaha front disc will work fine, just curious about the adapter as it's the most important part of the whole kit.

Galfer kit is on. Yzf/wr kit worked perfectly fine.

Was it an 07 or older Yamaha kit? Pretty sure the old larger caliper that was stock on Yamaha pre-08 is the same caliper that comes on the current on the RMZs.

You are correct. It's an 01-07 YZF kit.

Galfer info:
Brake KIT Galfer 270 mm.

Includes :

- Floating brake disc Galfer 270 mm

Do yourself a favor and use OEM grade Nissin pads, none of the aftermarket ones are as good.
