PVL ignition for CR500

Anyone have any experience with these on a CR500. Looks like my Service Honda Vortex may be failing although need to do a few diagnostics first. Starts right up, runs for a few minutes and quits. Wait for a few minutes, starts, does the same thing. Pulled the carb and gave it a good cleaning, although it was pretty spotless, but no change.

Thanks for the link. Mixed reviews, good and bad on the net. I have a new one in the box with lighting coil. Sounds like it may take a little more than my skills to get it just right. I have a good mechanic fortunately. I'll hit him up soon after I eliminate other possibilities.

Jack was set up next to us at the York PA dirt bike swap meet. Nice guy and the businessis for sale if any of you want to get into the MC industry.
