I own a 2013 rmz 450 and dislike my forks, I'm 38 and B rider at best and ride track, I belive in suspension before power. Questions I have are am I good enough to spend the money to buy a used A-kit? Should I buy ohlins front forks? Or the ohlins cartridge kit or just suck it up and Revalve the showa forks I know it's up to me but would love some opinions if people have experienced any of the setups mentioned above.

I had my 13 rmz 450, revalved resprung, service,. Way better. Factory connection. But then again nothing beats a A kit if you have the $$ to get them Risky buying used unless you know the person or the kit is newer. . Easy resale on kit stuff,. Revalve not so much.

Could be an option, depends on condition,. If they need serviced , resprung, revalved for you , , and see if they need clamps. Axle, spacers Or straight bolt up.

You don't need to be pro to use kit suspension. You will feel the benifits for sure. If you can afford it, no questions asked that's the way to go, but once you buy them you still need to get the revalved for your weight and speed, so keep that in mind while you budget it out.

If you can't afford that, showa revalved suspension is very very good! I'd reccomend Factory a connection or Enzo. Top of the line companies with so much experience and testing.

If you're in Canada, call ride concepts in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I have done several zuks, and they've been great. The price point is reasonable compared to some of the other names as well.

FYI-
I know where 4 sets of WP Cone Valve forks/ Trax shocks for RMZ are right now that are in MINT condition. They were barely used and can be set up fir your weight and ability for selling price. That's a $700 savings and WP Factory Services will be the ones doing the work. $3500 for everything

If your interested, email me at langhammx@sbcglobal.net
