Ive been running a mx11 Dunlop on the rear with a mx32f on the front which I can't fault... has anybody tried the mx11 front? It's got a real funky tread pattern and was just wondering if they are worth a shot or not?
I've tested between an MX32 and MX11 at a sand track before and honestly not noticed a great deal of difference. As in sand you adopt a more rearward riding style and don't push or weight the front end in a corner like you would on a mud track.
So I wouldn't say a sand front is essential but there is no harm in trying, plus if you buy one they will last forever as they don't really wear at all in sand.
