Im starting with a bone stock 2009, curious which one will be better on that particular model? I know at one time it seemed that VForce stepped ahead of Boyesen but without any research other than this question here, I'm thinking Boyesen may have redesigned there reed block in the past few years? I'm looking to pair with an FMF system and possibly a bit of cylinder/ head modifications. Thanks guys...

I actually was considering this option and forgot to mention it in the post. Thanks

Do you know which ones? I know they offer a few drop in reeds for stock block.

Rad valve gets on the power quicker Vforce lets it rev a bit more. I mated the Vforce with a DEP Rev pipe combo and I'm really liking it. Revs to the moon.

I do not understand, you assume that I do not correlate the relation between power output and traction? I have a stack of new tires on the shelve, why do you want me to buy another?

If you go Vforce richen the main accordingly and the needle one spot. I may have to go one more spot on the needle too, Thought I heard I lean spot on Saturday. I'm at a 430 main.

Boyesen required leaner jetting.

Relax man. In my experience I never felt that much of a gain from a v-force or boyesen intake. I was merely stating the money is better spent on new tires IMO.

I understand your comment but on other models I have felt great gains with both, just haven't put one on a 125. Are you referring specifically as to no improvement on a 125 yz or just in general?

I'm running the Pro-Series reeds on stock block on my YZ125 also. Works well.

On a related note, I did try the V-Force and it leaked pretty bad. It uses gaskets instead of the raised rubber lip the stock reed block has. If you run the V-Force, be sure to seal it up well with Moto-Seal, Ultra-Grey, or some other gas-resistant sealer.
