i just moved back to phoenix to go back to school, and the tracks around here have a really hard base with cow poo mix on top to make it loamy. this inturns makes its hard to decide on tires, i am currently running a mx51 90 front and a bridgestone s120 404 rear, i dont really like the mx51 front. so my question is has any one ran the new dunlop mx71s and the bridgestones 603 and 604 tires. or stick with a 404/403 combo?

Ive been using the MX71's on the front & back and they are amazing. Im sold on them, and it seems like it works pretty darn good on other types of terrain besides hardpacked. Also, been using the wider front tire (first time) and its working wonders
Highly recommend!

x2 on the mx71, mx51 on the rear, everyone hates the mx51 on the front, from what i ve heard at tracks! And thats coming from riders who pay for their tires !

I spent the better part of 2 years in 2004, 2005 racing in Az. I used the 401 and 402 from PIMA and Pinal AIr park to Speedworld and ACP. I found that Bridgestone just works much better in the Az dirt. Back her in Louisiana the type and consistency of dirt changes were as Az not so much.

Those were some fun days racing with Urseth, Blose, Sipe....
