Hi guys, I just got back from a quick arvo ride. But when I was riding I started to lose my front brake really quickly, so I stoped and noticed that my left fork leg was leaking. I would think that it would cause it and ruin the pads, and the brake fluid is fine.

Definitely possible that the fork oil got on your rotor and pad. Sounds like you need a fork seal.

You can try and clean your fork seal like this video:

Maybe also take your front brake pads out and sand them down a bit to get the oil off, use brake parts cleaner on your rotor...

If the brake pads got soaked with oil they just need to be replaced as you will never get the oil out of them.

This guy knows what he is talking about.

Once brake pads are ruined you cannot save them
