i have a 2003 rm 125 is it possible that the triple clamp are bent? I cant get them alligned with the wheel. i dont want to buy a new set having the same problem.
excuse my bad english i speak french.
I bought it like that the guy said the handlebar was bent. I dissambled the forks to change the seal and they do not slide in and out as easy as when i did it on my klx300r. I can twist them to the left but not the right where it need to be.
If it is bent I have the stock triple clamp from my 2005 RM125 build which is in perfect condition. I'd let you have it for cheap, triple clamps are expensive!
take off the front wheel, take the forks out, loosen the steering stem. slide the forks back in, lightly clamp the forks, torque the steering stem, torque the pinch bolts, and then put the front wheel back on.
If this process doesn't fix it, the triple clamps, bar mounts, and/or bars may be bent
