Well she is almost finished. Have a couple carbon fiber goodies to throw on and the graphics. I will post the rest tomorrow when I'm done.

I am. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna put an fmf ti system on it. I just want to ride it a little more before I do.

Finally got her buttoned up! Thanks to Dave at Bolt motorcycle hardware, Steve at MotoHose, Brian at Roth Racing, Dennis at Knobby Shop South, Rick at Technical Touch, Mika Metals, and DT-1 filters, and Bryar and Sabrina from 180 decals for helping out with making this scoot my own. Now Time to go get her dirty!

I typically run a windham bend. This is Mika metals closest thing to it.....Reed/YZ bend.

What did you do to the upper tubes? they look silver-ish/white in the pics.
The upper fork tubes were stripped and clear anodized from TCR wheel lacing.

Fwiw, i wd delete the pic with the tag # in the background, no need for some douchebag to find out where you live and steal that bike. Safety precaution. Fyi. Yzf looks badazz.

Thanks guys! Well I should say she rides as good as she looks! Me on the other hand, am extremely rusty, but as far as I can tell Slip dog at Roth Racing nailed the suspension duties, the bike was extremely plush while being firm in all the right places! Wink But most of all had a blast out there popping wheelies and spinning donuts, the bike has more power than any sane individual needs, but going to a 49t sprocket in the rear really helped make third a very manageable option for most situations, super stoked on this ride so far.

Sounds sick, have you ridden any other 450/s, newer or older to compare it to?, stock map? What fuel?

Travis you should win bike of the month easily, this is the sickest build i've seen in a while. Bryar did a great job!

I rode a 13 Honda which I wasn't impressed with at all. More or less, I'm 6'3 and hate the way it feels. I also rode a 12 KX, which I liked, and was the last 450 I owned. It was good, but I knew I didn't want to go the air fork route. Thanks for all the kind words guys, glad you like the way it turned out.

Lumpy, no need with the Cycra kit. Already comes pre-drilled.

Hey Travis do you want to sell the stock airbox cover shrouds? Just picked up a 250 for my son but it is the red model and he wants blue.
Let me know.
Thanks!

That bike deserves 'factory bike' status!! The whole package from graphics to fork tube coatings looks completely radical!
