Noticed it yesterday, not sure how long it's been moving freely like that. The caliper just slides into the notch on the swing arm and that's it, right? I can rock the whole caliper over the rear disc about 1/2"-1". All I did between Saturday and Sunday was change a sprocket, so I had the rear wheel off at that time.

Is the axle running through the brake caliper mount?

i think that would be physically impossible not to have it thru it. since the channel on the swingarm pretty much aligns the bracket hole with the swingarm hole.

maybe a stuck piston and you have a 1/2" gap on each side of the rotor?
or wheel spacer issue?

I haven't had time to checkcit out yet so I apologize for posting so soon. I'll check on those things, I was mainly hoping/wondering if anyone else had experienced that issue before.

It's possible...My buddy put his rear wheel on with out the brake going through the axel. He ended up breaking the line when he stepped on the brake at speed.
