I plan to buy some safety wire from www.mcmaster.com but not sure what diameter to purchase. 1/4 lb of .020" stainless steel safety wire costs less than 8 bucks!
Pit Posse sells .032" safety wire for street bike guys to wire bolts but that seems a bit too big for grips imo.
I like to wire my hose on to the carb and gas tank as well.

I think what I use is the .020, I would have to run out the the shop and measure.
If your grips are glued properly, no safety wire is necessary...

i fuggure if you need that stuff your gripping to hard.
bet most guys who wire or glue them get arm pump as well?
Question, will the grips still stick when I put new ones back on over the adhesive... and how should I prepare the grips...if at all...
Thanks..

My mates always complain about their grips slipping, and arm pump, I like mine - (well left one, usually throttle tube needs nothing anyway) being able to move, it reminds me to not hold on to tight.
And glue.
Noticed I was getting low on wire yesterday, lock wiring the 3 drain plugs and 4 bolts on the oil filters on my RFS Supermoto.
