Switching gearbox from ATF to motor oil, need to flush?

Should I flush with alcohol or gas? Or just pour the new oil in and run it for a few min then change it? Countershaft seal leaks and replacing seals, but suspect ATF can leak more...(2006 YZ250 2T) ?

No need to flush.

Warm it up, drain and fill with new oil.

2 strokes don't care too much. I reckon you could use vegetable oil and get away with it. Laughing
