Quick question for you guys. I opened up a 5 gallon pail of VP 110 in November, i used about a gallon. I sealed it back up and put it up on a bench in my garage. Is this stuff still good to go? Its being used in an 08 rm 250. I think its good to go but wanted to double check, thanks

Race gas is usually more stable than pump gas and it is also in a metal container. As long as it was sealed tightly and you pushed the spigot back down into the can, you should have no problems at all.

2 years, in the metal pale it came in , as long as its sealed, and the cooler and darker the area , where its stored is better. also do not have it sit directly on ground, set it on something to keep the moisture from the can.like 2 pieces of wood, milk crate, etc .

Why would it matter if the spigot was pushed back in or not?

It's fine.

That said, why VP 110? The lead is yummy for the motor, but does the motor have the compression to take advantage of the fuel?

Yes VP 110 is rated up to 13:1. Rm's are notorious for running bad on pump gas and my bike just runs better on race fuel. The 110 is a lower cost fuel from VP. Its not nearly as expensive as their top fuels. I normally dont let fuel sit to long but surgery has put a damper on any riding for another few months.

Ah OK! I ask because it's funny when someone will say they used C16...and they lose power!

That said, is the C10 cheaper than the T4/VP-R?
