I got a buddy who just picked up new 15' Kawi 450 and he didn't end up getting a pump with it for some reason. Can you guys steer me in the right direction for a good quality air pump?

Really? I had heard that the stock ones weren't all that good. My buddy that bought the Kawi , bought it as a demo. It had a little over 4hrs on it and I'm thinking that's why he didn't get the pump. I'll let him know what you guys said though.

Side note : not sure how much one of those stock pumps cost. Guess I'll have to compare against other brands and see what's up.

Its a good pump, or check WP pump, works connection. But buying that bike, he should have gotten the kawy.pump, which is a good product

When I got my '16, it didn't have a pump either, so dealership gave me a Progressive pump. No issues at all. I also got the WC no loss attachment

The digital works connection is something he was looking at. Is that a " no loss " type connection on fitting?

I talked to Shane at PR2 and he said the oem kawi pump is good. Said there's nothing wrong with it and no reason to upgrade.

Definitely get yourself a no loss adapter though. That pump which is made by a private-label manufacturer in China does lose a small hiss of air when you disconnect. You can lose as much as 6 pounds, which is significant.

Here's the Suzuki one, but Works Connection sells them too:
