Well I have finally decided to mover my tools and stuff out of the garage. I have limited space in my yard. I'm looking at a 20x16 wooded workshop with a wooden floor. It will strictly be for my tools and my bikes. Does any one have something like this. I'm currently in a 3 car garage but utilizing the 2 car section. So I'll be gaining some space along with ac and heat. I know a lot of you have some big 30x40 shops and stuff. I'm more interested in 20x16 shop scales and your opinions. This is the largest shop I can have in my back yard. Keep in mind this is strictly for dirt bikes only.

Kinda what I'm going for. I think I'm gonna go for the 16x30 it will give me actuall 16x24 work shop with is bigger than what I'm in right now the 2 car garage with a 6ft porch. Changing it to 8ft walls and double doors on the front. It has to sit behind my garage because I'm in a home owners assoc. my garage is roughly 36 ft long so I'll be in good shape. Plus this will have all my stuff in the back and no one will know what I actually have. My garage faces the street now but I have a fat across the front so it's a little tough to see in but it'll give me that little bit more of security. Plus I'm trying to get the vehicles back into the garage.

I have been looking at options like this for a larger garage.

I just got a quote from www.oldhickorybuildings.com They need 2 foot clearance to get a prefab 24x30 through my gate and my gate is 24ft so they were going to have to build it on site. The gave me a price of $16k with siding and shingle roof so it meets HOA rules.

I decided not to do it and am going with a 24x48 pole garage for $26k

That's the idea to get the bikes out of the garage and the vehicles in. The one I'm looking at is $3500. it's treated wind storm approved with 8ft walls 25 year shingles no loft. For my HOA just has to be painted the same color as the trim of the house. But I live on the back street so no one will ever see it being its behind my garage. I wish I could go wider but I only have 21 ft between the garage and fence.
