Anyone run ODI bars on their 2-stroke? Notice any reduction in vibration, or just softer landings? I dropped my bad short-shifting habit and now I find myself getting bar vibration that could satisfy a Croatian porn star.

haha, what two stroke do you have? if its a 08+ ktm check these out, i have them and they cut the vibrations right out. takes the initial shock out of your hands too.

More expensive than new bars, but you can't bend these, plus you can use all sorts of different bend 1-1/8th bars.

Sorry, should have put that in my original question. It's an '04 CR250. Like I said now that I'm lettin' it sing rather than shifting the vibration is killin me

I don't have any solutions for you, but I do know that when I owned a 2004 cr250 it wore my hands out! That was my first aluminum framed 250 and I hated how much it vibrated

I have the ODI bars & the X-Trig clamps on my 13 250SX with the 300SXS kit on it and vibration is next to none when running both. I love the bars and used to run cut TwinWalls forever. Your wrists definitely don't take the pounding on those fast pot holed type of tracks that used to beat my hands, wrists & forearms to death on.

One thing you can do to help is fill the bars with some $5 can of expanding foam.

Hmm that is a cool idea. Maybe I'll try to salvage my Pro Tapers and give that foam trick a shot before dropping the cash on ODIs.

Also my little high-side swap out is at the end of this GoPro vid. Kinda hard to see but he runs it back in slow-mo it was an alright little body slam.

I was at Eugene yesterday as well. And funny enough I run ODI bars on both my bikes. 13 KTM 250SX and 13 Honda CRF450. Love em. It certainly took away some of the vibration on the ktm for me.

Have yet to get the bar mount system, but this helps some.

Haha that is very funny man, how'd you like it? I liked it a ton except for a few of the lips that had bad kickers. The layout itself was a very welcome change tho.

What number were you? Did you ride slow or fast bikes?

Good to know about the ODI's tho. I'm gonna try and get my mounts and bars straight and fill em with the foam first, just to see how that works. But I'm sure I'll give the ODIs a try. Is there a bar mount system for my CR that's available?

Was my first time ever to Eugene. Track was fun, couldn't ask for much better dirt considering how wet it has been here lately. Some of the jumps definitely had some kickers on em and that made it a bit interesting. I was in the fast bike class, #83.

Not sure about a bar mount system for your CR. I would bet Ride Engineering makes a rubber mounted triple clamp, but I think yours already is stock. Maybe not.

Nice, I remember seeing you. The few laps I did before I ate shit was fast bikes, I don't think we ever Vince Friese'd each other tho haha.

Yeah, they're stock rubber mounts. I'm gonna try and fix them up this weekend, shouldn't be too bad, just by pulling on them I get them semi straight. If not, ODIs.
