Need Machinist Help - Bushing/Adapter for Steering Stem bearing

Take the bearing and stem to the machine shop. Show them what you need. Usually a bearing fit is going be .001 thousandths loose. It's a simple bushing. Best thing would be find 30mm stem and get the exact measurement for that and show the machine shop both stems so the bushing would be exact. There should be a bearing chart somewhere floating around. Try skf they usually give shaft diameter tolerances.

Call All Balls racing. They make conversion bearings. The 26x51x15 is one they make for crf to xr conversions.

I tried them, unfortunately they said they don't have that size.

I guess another option would be have the smaller diameter lower triple machined out to accept my 30mm stem, then have the larger stem pressed in.

I haven't received an email yet. at least I don't think I did, I didn't look thru my junk mail real close. send one over if you still want to go the bushing route.
