After two seasons with the great CRF 450, I decided that I really wanted to ride a twostroke again. Getting the Honda sold was a pain in the ass, but after a few weeks it was gone, and I was able to pick up this baby: 2014 KTM SX 250, almost new, seller said it had done about 20 hours, but it looked more like 2. I've spent the past couple of weeks getting this baby dialed for next season. This is the fastest 250 I have ever ridden. Before the Honda I had an ´11 SX, that had about everything dpne to it you could think of, but still wasn't as fast as this bike completely stock, with just an FMF silencer on the stock pipe. I've been finding a lot of great deals on parts lately, so this bike is going to be even more awesome once it's done.
The Rockstar graphics were ugly af, so I swapped them for the stock ´14 plastics that were included when I bought the bike.

I just listed my CRF as well and will decide between the sx or yz once it's sold.

Do yourself a favor and put a 38mm carb on it. It makes a WORLD of difference for the overrev

one of the things I'd advice you to do is run the Suzuki NECJ needle and go up on the main, I've got a 175 in at the moment, while it's winter in the UK and I ride (or at least would if I wasn't injured) a lot of deep sand. when the weather warms up and tracks dry out I drop to a 172/ 170. I think a lot of guys on this forum are running a similar set up too.
