I mix MS-109 with ethanol pump fuel (1/3 race to 2/3 pump) all the time and run it in my 2-strokes (13YZ250, 03CR250r) and my YZ450f with no issues. When I tried to run C12 in the same mixture ratio it seemed as if it would not burn hot enuff without changing the jetting around. I don't think it will be a problem, maybe just some minor jetting tweeks.

In my 05 KX250 we can't run a nothing less than 105 octane or else is pings(yes stock motor). So we run either vp110 or c12. Can't go wrong with either one. 40:1 with stock jetting and fmf fatty/shorty combo and he bike runs like a bat out of hell!

As long as you recognize the problems with ethanol gas and your bike is happy with it go ahead and run it. Make sure you always use fresh gas and don't let it set in the carb for any time or you will become an expert in cleaning and rebuilding the carb, You might check airports or boat marinas for non-ethanol gas.

Why reduce the quality of the expensive race gas you want to run? I pay 7/gallon for VP110. You'll appreciate the benefit of consistent fuel quality, increased performance and the almost non existent carbon build up when doing top ends

Just a suggestion, if you are doing it for power, don't run the MS-109. It is oxygenated but it's meant for large displacement motors. We did some testing with it and a couple other fuels. I shit you not, that fuel made the same exact power as pump 93 on a modified R1 we were testing...thats with custom fuel and ignition maps.
Mr-12 had by far the best results...but its pretty much liquid gold.

That's why I said 87 Non E, non ethanol. I do not want ethanol gas in my bike.

Because with a stock motor I do not need 110 octane, but I need more than 93. I figured that mixing 50/50 would give me the octane I need while saving some cash

So are you having issues with the bike detonating? Or are you just reading the vitard comments and assuming you need it? Ride the bike, get it dialed in on 93 pump gas, if you're having issues, check the timing. If you're still having issues have the head done.

Same here: I had a fully decked out 05 kx 250 with an Eric Goore engine and finish line racing bottom end and that bike was honest to God the quickest, most potent bike I've ever ridden. I ran 70/30 mix of C12 and 91 non-ethanol with a BR7EIX Iridium plug... one heat range hotter..
The mix of C12 And pump is fine. My kx ran fine on a 50/50 mix when it was bone stock. And actually ran pretty good on pump 91 with only very rare/ occasional pinging.

Even with the work done and 91 it only pings rarely/occasionally?? Man you're lucky. Everytime we run 91 the bike pings and its pings throughout the entire moto every moto. We've never mixed 50/50 or any sort of mixture of fuel with ours because of how badass it runs with just straight vp110 or c12 at 40:1. I usually choose vp110 though since it's a hell of a lot cheaper lol. Do you have a picture of your Kx??

I meant it actually ran OK stock on 91.. Sorry I don't have but a couple pics I can share and
