Make a kx 85 2007 faster???

Hello

What does it need?

the engine is like a new one and have pro circuit exhaust/silencer and vforce 3.

But can't hang on the new ktms....

Porting/head work, gearing and most importantly suspension. I'd rather have my suspension done first before any motor work. A better handling bike can be ridden faster

The big question is how much money are you willing to spend? And another thing to think is the upkeep to keep it fast besides the labor (time). Of course you could buy a faster rider (Sorry just kidding about that)

PR2 linkage for rear shock, it's guaranteed to make em pick up a couple seconds a lap on your favorite track, look it up.

If PR2 is still around, talk to them. My son ran an RM85, it was 10 years ago. he was in great shape, but heavier than most of the 85 kids. He never holeshotted, but was a great passer, and won his races. PR2 put a long rod in the motor, with a spacer under the jug to keep it stock discplacement. He hole shotted every time. That bike screwed. Best thing to do. When he moved up, I had a bidding war for that 85. Everyone wanted it. Give them a call.
