10/31/2009 8:07 AM They have 2 versions of the MS 109. Theres the MS109 and MS109E the regular 109 is more for a stock motor, the other is more designed for a bike with motor work. The U4.2 is a really good fuel Im waiting for my engine guy to get in the MS109E I wanna see what does compared to the U4.2. Sorry Im not much help at this point. Try and hit up Jessie Williams he might have something on it for you.

11/3/2009 10:11 AM I had some 109 and it did not run any better in the stock bike. It was more consistent than pump gas, and cheaper than 4.2
I think it has a lighter specific gravity too. VP tech bulletin Motorsport 109TM and Motorsport 109ETM – Both of these fuels are a good option for 4-stroke or 2-strokes and make more power than any unleaded racing fuel on the market – up to 4% over pump gas. Appropriate for all disciplines of motorcycle racing–dirt bike, road race or street bike (off road use only). Both pass fuel rules for AMA amateur racing as well as club level racing, CCS, WERA and AFM. MS109E is oxygenated with ethanol and legal in states that restrict the use of MTBE in fuels |

11/5/2009 2:49 AM Does the MS109 leave the white residue in the exhaust like the U4.2?

11/5/2009 3:38 PM I don't know much about the details of the different fuels but a friend of mine is now a dealer for Dragon race fuel. He talked me into trying some in our KX250F and after a couple minutes on the track my son came back with a huge smile and wide eyes and said it made a huge difference. With no jetting changes it improved throttle response and overall power.
Have any of you tried the Dragon? |

11/7/2009 7:42 PM ms 109 works well i use it in the race cars that have to run unleaded ive also used the 109 e ....pick either one and stick with it the tuneups vary greatly with the e fuel.....were talkin 2 full af fuel points leaner with the e fuel.......easy way to blow a bike up if your not careful....

11/7/2009 9:33 PM I grabbed 5gallons of U4.2 to try it out. I changed the jetting as well. Went from the stock pilot of 42 to 44 and changed the main jet from 182 to 195. We will see how it runs tomorrow on the track. The only problem I have had so far is it was hard to start with the race fuel.

I'd have left the jetting alone to start with. cant leave the jetting stock with u4.2 its oxygenated and if u dont start on the rich side and jet backwards u run the risk of hurting parts

11/9/2009 6:21 AM It wasn't running right with the stock jetting....the VP rep told me to go up 5 sizes....did that and it ran perfect.

11/9/2009 9:51 AM VP red is to high of octane for a 4 stroke. The lower the octane you can run in any bike without it detonating the more POWER your gonna make. If you could afford VP Pro 4.1 you will make more power then any other Unleaded gas on the market. Ala what all the factory teams run but 5 gals retails for like $240
