Anyone done any testing for the clutches in the newer Kx250f's? The OEM's are pretty high dollar and Hinson is the same as OEM but just as high. What have you had luck with as a hard core racer? Not a weekender only riding a dozen times a year.

Hinson, Pro-X, and DPK are all good aftermarket options. Most of the aftermarket stuff is junk and you get what you pay for with the clutches from my experience. I have guys all the time that bought a certain brand and after two rides they are needing new plates again. Get one of the above brands or the stock plates. Also make sure your basket is not notched.

My kid burned the stocker in his '15 in 7 hours. Was in a hurry so replaced with a Wiseco kit with stiffer springs & it's been going strong now a 25 hours. He is an aggressive intermediate rider..............

Good to hear! I have been wanting to try the Wiseco option, so this is good news.
