Has anyone used any of the carbs from JD Jetting? Particularly on a 2002-2004 CR250R? I am wanting to do a PWK swap from my mikuni carb. I've heard of people using the jet kits from JD in their stock carbs, and they make a world of difference alone. I can buy a new PWK carb for a 2000 CR250R for about $185 + shipping. JD wants $260 + shipping for the carb pre jetted, with extra jets and needles.

maybe if you dont know how to jet ur bike that may be helpful, but a little jetting on your own and ten buks worth of parts should make it rite

I have bought a few. They are good. Make sure you tell him you want the short airstryker.

Save yourself a lot of time and trouble and go straight with his Keihin airstryker carb! Put on my 2003 CR250r and it felt like a port job! Comes with jetting instructions and 2 different needles. Only had to make one main jet change.Ialso put one on a 2004 RM125 with the same results.

The short body's are for the 05-07 from what I've read. The longer body are supposed to fit the 02-04 good. Unless there would be an advantage to using the short body?

That's what I'm looking at, the 38mm pwk airstriker

I have all the Jets and the chart for my mikuni. Rejetting every day you ride is a pain in the ass though. I've heard the airstriker is like fuel injection compared to the mikunis.

It's strange, my buddy has a 03 cr250 and has never had to touch his mikuni. Maybe o just got a bad one
