Pitch it, race fuel is only good stored in the metal can, is $30 loss really worth messing up your bike., or carb ?, mix small batches at a time, use that old shit in the weed eater , haha

I'm cheap, I wouldn't pitch it but would use it in your snow blower. It might smoke some but will do wheelies thru the snow drifts lol. Always store it in the metal can until you need it.

Castor oil does not last long once mixed, C12 last's a long time but it is probably old considering it sat for a few months.

Remember, 927 separates in cold weather (around 40 and below). If it has been 40 and below where you are, don't run it in anything.

Just another reason not to use Castor oil. Sucks to have to waste some seriously expensive race fuel because it has castor in it.

I always mix fresh for raceday, but regardless, I never mix more than i'll use for the week.

C12 and castor is a bad combo. C12 has a very light specific gravity of .710. Maxima doesn't recommend mixing 927 with any fuel with a specific gravity under .730 because the oil separates from the fuel in colder temps.

If you mix C12 with any other conventional/synthetic oil, it will last over 2 years if it is stored in a well sealed steel container. Do yourself a favor. Go to Lowes and get one of these to store your race fuel in.

Yea if it's not in a metal can as above use it for yard tools or drop it in the race truck. Plastic race jug's are good for one week, no more.

The fuel will last longer than 1 week inside a plastic race jug. I talked to klotz about this last summer and they said in a plastic jug you can keep it in there for about a month without issues.

Isn't C12 leaded? If so, not a good idea to put it in your truck, or anything with a catalytic converter.

I have a question along the same lines. I have a brand new bottle of 927, never opened. I have had a string of injuries and it is a little over a year old. It has sat in my cabinet and I am sure it has been in below freezing conditions. Would it still be good? I hate the thought of junking a big bottle of 927.
