I started off with a 90 degree die grinder and a 2" gasket surface cleaning wheel from harbor freight then worked my way through a pile of lesser and lesser abbrasives. Now all I have to do it but out the mothers and it'll be done! After market look for an hours worth of time 
I use it with s/s and alluminium, works great, you could probably save alot of time
