HELP!! 2014 KX250F wont kick start warm

I'm very new to this and I really hope you guys can help me. I was in the middle of a race and my bike quit and wouldn't kick start back up. Got back home it cooled off and cranked right up. Wasn't sure what the problem was so I had a top end put in and the valves adjusted. The exhaust valve was a little off so I thought that was the issue. Got the bike back together, kicked it, started up, and it ran fantastic. However, once it got warm, it wouldn't Kickstart. It would bump start everytime. It only kick starts when it's cold. I need some help!!

I wish it was something I could learn I've had the bike 2 years, and it's just started doing this.

Look past engine temp. Water or dirt could be getting in the way of something. Most likely water playing with the electronics

Sorry, just assumed you're new to the thumper since you said it runs fine other than not starting hot.
When was the last time you changed the spark plug?

Your clue is that it starts cold and not warm.

Something is changing with heat and causing your problem?

If it were in my shop I would get it hot and do a leakdown test to see if a valve leaks when hot.

Standard rule of thumb if a bike will start cold but not hot, but will bump start hot we always go to the valves and check clearance.

Thanks, I think it may be the stator. Maybe the coil is contracting when it gets hot and loosing conductivity, and when it cools down it bridges back. I will keep you guys posted. I will also see about the valves again, thanks.

Did you ever figure out what was happening? My bike seems to be doing the same thing.
