Found this to be helpful in rebuilding the cr250. I bought new wheels for my crf250 and the factory wheels i wanted to relace onto the cr but come to find out the front wheel fit great. Just have to relace the rear due to the off set rear hub.

That rm doesn't look too shady for 300 bucks. Congrats. I paid 1500 for the same bike with cylinder and pipe missing in 2003

Got a little bit more done tonight. Swapped the 95 hub into the 14 wheel and spokes.

2014 Crf250 hub next to the 95 cr250

I have to be honest, I was very worried about this because I have never laced a wheel before.... But after some tense moments I ended up with this.

Sweet build, you have a cool dad!, good job on the wheels. I also was worried about lacing my first wheel ( about a month ago), they are actually kind of fun once you get the hang of it right?
I look forward to y'alls progress

my weekend continues....

I found an awesome deal on Craigslist for 2 new Dunlop tires for $40!!

Got the front all mounted up and the rear mocked up to set my chain then I noticed this..

Can I just tig this up? Or should I look for a replacement?

Here's the pics of the wheels on the bike

Thanks! He is cool! He lets me keep my toys at his house. Haha. He used to ride in the 70s and 80s but after my brother and I were born he stopped.

Gotta have fun while we can, right? He's 60 and will get out there and kill me in the trails!

Replace it. Ebay.
That's the CR swingarm, not the RM, correct? I have a 02 RM swingarm...

Dad got some parts in this week. Sean at 312 called and said our jugs are done. I'll be picking those up tomorrow and installing them sometime this weekend.

Got the cr fired up this morning. Now I know everything it good with the engine I can now take it down to the frame.

Picked this up yesterday at a yard sale. Now I'm wondering if I should use it for parts or build it too...

With the bike I was able to pick up some more goodies for the honda.

I really think I want to build one of them into a Honda of Troy bike. Not sure through.

Girlfriend got tired of me always working on my bikes and she wanted my help to do something to her can-am ds250.

What do you think?

She picked the colors. Plasti dipped the plastics and painted the Tiffany blue. Might do the wheels too.
